Tomorrow will begin my semester abroad in Paris. While I may have filled out my forms, packed my suitcases, and said my goodbyes, I don't think I am ready for what lies ahead this semester. It is certainly going to be an experience that will challenge me in ways that cannot begin to fathom, but then again, I know I will have the time of my life there!

  This being said, I hope that this blog can serve as a means to relay my stories and experiences back to those of you in the US. As most of you can imagine, I plan to blog about all things parisienne: food, fashion, art, nightlife, classes, sport, culture, and my interactions with the men and women I encounter along the way. Of course, I'll add photos to illustrate my experiences, and your commentary, questions, and suggestions for improvement are always welcome. 

Expect another post early next week once I've settled a bit and have experienced a few things. Other than that, it is time for me to drive to the airport and leave my family, my old friends, and California behind for a bit!
